The adsorption capacity is between 60-80% under relative humidity of 90%.
The frame of the gel is fairly strong, and will not crack upon contact with water. It can be used as desiccant, sorbent and moisture absorbent, or as carrier for catalysts, filler for chromatographic column sometimes.
The product is processed through activation treatment. When used for the production of fragrance silica gel, it won't crack when infused in the fragrance solvents. Hence the product is often used as the raw material for fragrance gel. Also it can be used for padding for pets. It has the characteristics of odor removal, clean, low trash amount, no pollution to the environment and improvement to the soil structure.
